Episode 9: As the World Turns
In this episode I speak with Keith Burtis, who combines the world of Social Media, and traditional craftsmenship as a Wood Turner. I find this be a fascinating combination, and I certainly learned a lot when we spoke via Skype last night!
Featured Music: Weaving, from the album Accoustic Abstracts by Heavy Mellow. I am allowed to share this with three people, so if you want a free copy (dowlnloads) drop me a line!

Thank you
John, Thank you for the interview, I ha d a lot of fun doing it. I am glad to see that your listeners are getting a lot out of it too. The social media space is a special one. Thanks again.

You've really found your
You've really found your voice John! Interesting guest, and the show was held together with your excellent questions. Nicely done- once again! Oh ya, good music too!
Anther great episode!
John, I *really* enjoyed your chat with Keith Burtis -- I've been reading his blog for a little bit now, but I'm still a lurker (waves hello in case Keith reads this).
I can totally connect with his art and his craft -- some knitters even say they wait for the yarn to tell them what they want it to be worked into, much like Keith might let the wood speak to him, too.
Keith gave me one of his wine stoppers at podcamp -- I've tucked it into my knitting basket, I love to pick it up and turn it over in my hand from time to time, and it just feels so right that his "noble material" should find a home with mine.
